100 Views of Paisley in 1920’s and 30’s

We have just published 100 views of Paisley in the 1920’s and 30’s onto our new Heritage Colletion Website.

The slides from the Burgh Sanitation Department may not sound appealing at first glance – but there are some great images of the town!  The Slides were donated to RWH1697 by an anonimous donor, who’s father had found them in a skip in the 1950’s or 60’s.

The views can be seen on our new Heritage Collection Website at

If you have any old Glass Slides or images of Paisley or Renfrewshire that you would like to donatate to our archives, they would be most welcome.
